ABOUT US
The Financial Literacy Initiative foundation is a non-profit organization registered in 2012 and working for the public benefit.
We believe that if a person has a good level of financial knowledge and a rational, informed and responsible decision-making approach to managing personal finances, he can provide a stable and secure life for himself and his family.
We also believe that the financially literate person not only helps himself, but is the foundation of economic prosperity for society. When a reasonable approach and choice improves his own welfare, a person increases the welfare of society. His rational and informed consumer’s behavior encourages healthy market competition and stimulates economic growth.
Therefore, our mission is to work to improve the financial literacy of citizens and increase the level of consumer protection in financial services so that the result would be positive for the welfare of individuals and society, and ensure fruitful participation of individuals in the economy.
The main purpose of the foundation is to provide the tools of financial education to enable people to acquire knowledge and skills needed to make rational and profitable financial decisions. It is our hope that they would then enjoy better, more secure and satisfying lives. Everyone needs and deserves to receive quality financial education in every stage of his life.
